Sadly, we recently lost long time CTR member and former president Jim Storrs. He was always at our club events with his red TR4. He will be missed by us all.

TORRINGTON – James A. Storrs, 65, of Torrington, peacefully passed away July 22, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Furlin) Storrs for 46 years.
 
Jim was born April 16, 1952 in Torrington, son of the late Kenneth and Lina (Logan) Storrs. He was employed by Palladin Precision Products as a machinist. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge #372 and was a Past President of the Connecticut Triumph Registery.
 
In addition to his beloved wife, Barbara, he is survived by two daughters, Dawn Pollutro (David), of New Hartford and Danielle Storrs, of Torrington; one brother, Gary Storrs (Deborah), of Torrington; one sister-in-law, Mary Storrs, of Goshen; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Storrs, Ana-Maire Pollutro, Raymond Abeling and Christina Pollutro; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Storrs and one sister, Patricia Bruckner.
 
Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning, July 28, 2017, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Burial and graveside services will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
